Nominations open until February 20 for SIEDC’s “20 Under 40” leadership awards

Staten Island, New York – February 5, 2024  The Staten Island Economic Development Corporation (SIEDC) announced a call for nominations for SIEDC's "20 Under 40" leadership awards, the annual recognition of twenty young professionals under the age of forty that have contributed to improving Staten Island’s economy and quality of life.

To nominate a rising star making the borough a better place, visit surveymonkey.com/r/20Under40-2024 to fill out the survey. Nominations may come from SIEDC members and non-members and will be accepted until February 20, 2024.

Nominees must also adhere to the below criteria to be eligible:

1)    The nominee must work on Staten Island; residency is not required.

2)    The nominee must be employed at a public or private company, non-profit organization or government agency, holding an executive-level position.

3)    The nominee must have a demonstrable record of contribution to the Staten Island business community and economic vitality of the borough.

4)    The nominee must not have won a “20 Under 40” award in the past.

The honorees will be recognized at a ceremony (free and open to the public) during SIEDC’s 25th Annual Business Conference on April 18, 2024 at the Hilton Garden Inn.
